We currently do not offer international shipping.

Processing Time: 

Orders are carefully processed and dispatched within 48 hours (Monday to Friday), excluding public holidays. During high-demand periods, please allow for potential minor delays. We appreciate your patience and are committed to ensuring your order reaches you promptly.

Shipping Rates:

Flat Rate Shipping: $12 for all Australian orders

Express Rate Shipping: $20 for all Australian express orders 

Free Shipping: Automatically applied to orders over $150

Delivery Timeframes: 

Once your order is dispatched:

Standard Delivery (Australia Post): Expect delivery in 3–7 business days for metropolitan addresses and 5–10 business days for regional or remote areas.

Express Shipping: Your parcel should arrive within 1–3 business days, depending on your location.

Tracking information will be emailed once your order has been dispatched.

Important Shipping Info: 

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please ensure all shipping details are correct before placing your order.

The Baby Chapter are not responsible for orders that do not arrive due to incorrect shipping information being provided by customer at checkout.

Delivery timeframes provided by Australia Post are estimates only and may vary due to postal delays, weather events, or high-volume periods. We are not responsible for delays once the parcel has been handed to the courier. 

Once your order has been lodged with Australia Post, it becomes their responsibility. We are not liable for lost, delayed, or damaged parcels. However, we will assist you in lodging an enquiry or claim with Australia Post.

Orders containing pre-order items will ship together once all items are available unless otherwise arranged.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@thebabychapterau.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns on:

-Pacifiers and teething products

-Feeding items

-Underwear or swimwear (unless faulty)

-Sale items (unless faulty)

-Gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Order Cancellations
We currently do not accept order cancellations.  All orders are final once payment has been made.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. You can use it to follow your package’s progress at any time.

How often do you release new products?

We release new collections seasonally, along with limited-edition items throughout the year.

You can subscribe to our emails or follow us on social media - we update this regularly. We have some exciting mum and bub events coming soon. 

We started this store because, as mums still in the thick of it, we know firsthand how overwhelming early parenthood can be. We longed for a space that felt calm, considered, and full of products we could actually rely on. So we set out to build exactly that.
